Rich Cities, Poor Countryside?
Poverty researchers at BFH explore the spatial dimensions of poverty and highlight urban-rural differences. Effective poverty reduction policies should incorporate these differences in the design and delivery of their services. The interactive visualization shows the social structure of the poverty population in urban and rural areas in the canton of Bern. It was originally built for an article on the knoten & maschen Blog of the Bern University of Applied Sciences.
