Regional Inequality

Switzerland is one of the richest countries in the world. But not all regions benefit equally from the wealth generated nationally. The high incomes are concentrated around the lakes near metropolises. This also has to do with tax competition. In the choropleth-map below average taxable incomes by communities are displayed. The graph was originally built for an article on the knoten & maschen Blog of the Bern University of Applied Sciences.
